option 1 sales position: Experienced Sales Associate, Functional Medicine Enrollment
Sanctuary Functional Medicine | Part Time | Hybrid
Your Calling at Sanctuary: Do you dream of putting your sales skills to work at restoring broken lives burdened by chronic illness? Do you dream of waking up and looking forward to the workday filled with guiding people to hope?
Then Sanctuary wants to meet you, get to know you, and welcome you to our team in Franklin where we care for those wearied by the conventional medical system. So many call us looking for answers to their health struggles and we need you to be the calm, reassuring voice that assesses their needs, presents our solutions, and walks them through the enrollment phase of our programs. They need your compassion for their plight to combine with your knowledge of what we can do with functional medicine so that they look forward to taking their first steps with our team of providers.
Are You a Natural Closer Who Leads With Compassion?
Do you have a proven track record in sales and a genuine desire to help people? Sanctuary Functional Medicine is looking for an experienced sales professional who can turn interested prospects into enrolled patients while making every person feel heard, understood, and supported.
This is an inbound sales position. No cold calling! You will speak with people who have already expressed interest in our programs and help them understand their options and take the next step.
We are looking for a confident salesperson who knows how to communicate value, overcome objections, follow up consistently, and close sales without using high pressure tactics.
This is not an entry level position or a traditional customer service role. Demonstrated sales success is essential.
What You Will Do
• Respond to inbound inquiries from prospective patients by phone, email, and online forms.
• Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand needs, explain program benefits and costs, and guide qualified prospects toward enrollment.
• Confidently address concerns, overcome objections, and close sales.
• Follow up with interested prospects and manage leads through the enrollment process.
• Meet established sales goals and track individual results.
• Maintain accurate lead information, communications, and follow up activities in ActiveCampaign.
• Use spreadsheets to organize leads, track sales activity, and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate enrollment paperwork and initial appointments.
• Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams and participate in weekly team meetings.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
Proven Sales Performance
You have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, converting leads, and generating revenue. You can demonstrate your individual results, closing ability, and experience selling services or programs.
Confident Closing Skills
You are comfortable discussing costs, communicating value, addressing objections, and helping prospects make informed decisions.
Warm and Empathetic Communication
You listen well, build trust, and understand that people dealing with chronic health challenges need compassion as well as clear guidance.
Medical Knowledge
Some familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare services, or common health conditions is preferred. Experience in healthcare, wellness, nutrition, or functional medicine is a plus.
Strong Organizational and Technology Skills
You have exceptional attention to detail, are comfortable using spreadsheets, and can learn new systems quickly. Experience with ActiveCampaign or similar customer relationship management software is preferred.
Self Motivation and Accountability
You work independently, manage multiple leads and follow ups, and take ownership of your sales performance.
Candidates whose experience is primarily reception, scheduling, administrative support, or customer service without demonstrated sales closing ability may not be the right fit.

• Schedule: 16 to 32 hours per week across three to four flexibly scheduled days.
• Work Environment: Hybrid, with a flexible combination of in office and remote work. Specific days are not predetermined.
